Here we are back again: coat season.
I really am favouring the long coat at the moment. I think its far more elegant than a short style, and it keeps more of you warm! I loved the duster in Summer and on those early Autumn nights, but now its time for something a bit more heavy-duty.
The wonderful thing about investing in a good coat is that it will last you quite a few years. Go for a classic style, in a versatile colour (black, camel or grey) and buy quality fabric (wool, cashmere). This is one I bought from Scanlan a couple of years ago, and its still going strong.
As I walk in to work in the mornings, I find that once we get into the heart of winter a beanie is essential to stop my ears from freezing. I love this one with the fur pom pom. I bought it in Paris (clang!) at a tiny market, but literally all the stores have got them this season.
