I have terrible feet. They are wide, lumpy and all I have to do is so much as look at something non-leather and my feet break out in blisters.
My preferred summer approach would be to wear my rubber havaianas 24/7. However, that is not always conducive to being let in anywhere and isn't exactly work-place appropriate.
So the solution, find some soft leather sandals that are somehow dressy enough to pass as workwear and party wear but ideally feel like slippers.
I bought these in the Wittner outlet on Swan St a couple of weeks ago for $49 - total bargain! They are super soft and have basically not come off my feet since then. They are going to be absolutely perfect for all the barbecue catch-ups I seem to have in the lead up to Christmas, occasions when I want to look nice but will likely be on my feet all day. Currently contemplating going back for the black pair...
These are a simple little pair from asos. I've had them for about 2 years and I suspect they still make them. Go with everything, easy to slip on, but like anything backless not so great for running or walking long distances.
