Over the cooler months I notice myself reaching for the same outfit every weekend. Leggings, sweater, puffer vest. Its warm, its functional, its super comfortable. But - its boring. More often than not its all black, or in a shades of grey. And I'm not alone - walk past any Melbourne cafe on a Sunday in August and you'll see plenty of others in this "Melbourne Uniform".
I've been wanting to mix this up a bit, but if I'm completely honest, I'm not going to wear an outfit thats not warm, comfortable and functional. A typical weekend for me usually involves anything from a morning spent reading the paper, walking, a trip to the market, shopping, brunch, cooking, cleaning, yoga or a long drive down to my parents house. Luckily, Cotton On Body have got a few new looks that caught my eye.
In particular, I am loving these leggings from the new Cotton On Body Premium line. They fit me like a dream, and I quite literally wore them all day last Saturday. Teamed with a super soft and oversized hoodie, this is officially my new weekender.
As a bonus, uni students can get 20% off on Cotton On Body through UNiDAYS.
To mix things up further, I played with some matchy matchy pieces - the floral leggings and crop. And this classic scooped-back black tank is perfect with everything. I'll be taking it for a run, but I could also imagine it becoming a yoga class staple.
With these new additions, I think its time to banish the black leggings - at least until next winter!
